Overview
HBGrocery is a modern grocery commerce platform designed to simplify online grocery shopping while creating a connected operational ecosystem for customers, vendors, and the business.
The platform combines a customer-facing ecommerce website, customer mobile experience, and vendor application into one integrated system. Customers can discover and purchase groceries, manage their carts and deliveries, while vendors can manage products, orders, inventory, and day-to-day marketplace operations.
The Challenge
Traditional grocery businesses often rely on disconnected systems for product management, customer orders, vendor operations, and delivery coordination. This creates several operational challenges:
- Customers have limited visibility into products and order status.
- Managing a large grocery catalogue becomes difficult as products and variants increase.
- Vendors need a simple way to manage products and fulfil orders.
- Delivery preferences and available time slots need to be coordinated with orders.

We designed HBGrocery as a connected commerce ecosystem with multiple experiences built around a shared backend.
Customer Experience
The customer-facing platform allows users to browse grocery categories, search products, view detailed product information, manage quantities, add products to cart, select delivery slots, place orders, make secure payments, and track orders.
Customer Mobile Application
Extends the shopping journey beyond the website. Customers can access their grocery catalogue, manage carts, place orders, save delivery addresses, and monitor orders directly from their mobile devices with reduced friction for repeat purchases.
Vendor Application
Provides vendors with their own operational application for onboarding, managing business profiles, updating product inventory, processing new orders, reviewing sales analytics, and monitoring customer feedback in real time.
